Website crashed upon updating to ver 4.6.1 – class-http.php error?

I updated 4 or 5 plugins successfully. Then tried to update to WP ver 4.6.1 but site crashed.

Not sure about the version. Either 4.5.4 or 4.6
My site crashed upon trying to update WordPress.
I cannot get into admin.
I tried disabling the plugins I updated. Didn’t help.
I disabled the plugins folder by renaming the folder plugins.hold.
Still cannot get into admin.
