website crashes if php updated

  • Hello,

    I am currently using a child theme from pliska.
    The site is under php 7.4 but when I want to update to a more recent version of php, the site crashes and cannot be displayed.
    How to make pliska compatible with php 8?

    Hi @vt17s ,

    Pliska theme is fully compatible with php 8.0 and php 8.1, however it is recommended that you use php 7.4 for production, since WordPress itself is beta-compatible to php 8 and a lot of plugins cannot work with php 8 yet. You can read more about php compatibility here.
