Website developer not available and I want to change the items right below store

  • I had Privateer set up my Word Press site and they do not respond to questions. Right below my site name, Designer Jeanne’s Vintage China, there is a strip of places to select, Home About etc. One place is Visit Our Store which get’s you to an off-site store. The next place is Store, which gets to my website store. I want to change these places so Visit Our store and Store go to the website. I do not know how to do this as I can’t find anywhere to change it.

  • First, it’s always a good idea to include a link to your site if possible.
    Based on the forum post below, here is where I would start…
    In your wp-admin, select Pages. Then, from the list of pages presented, select the one whose behavior you want to change.
    In the title field is there something like:
    Visit Our Store

    If so, change the URL to what you want.

    I have not tried this myself.

    BTW, I would not try experimentation like this on a production site. I would create a test environment on a local server.
