• I was on my site last night doing some editing and i hit the update now button. Right away my site went white. I hit the back button and it brought me back to my dashboard. However, none of my links work and now nobody can see my site, it’s down. The bad part is i had to re-register because i was not receiving email as i was trying to change my password. Apparently, my email address was different. If anyone could help me i would greatly appreciated it. I’m not too web savvy. my web address is https://www.bumpcityreunionband.com and my user name is [removed]. That’s about all i know at this point. I could really use someone help.

These are public support forums, please never post your username.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

Thank you, however I don’t have access to my old site or log in. One of my band mates started this site and he left the band. So I removed him and made myself admin. However, when I went in to login to WordPress it didn’t recognize my password so I requested a change but never received an email with new password. Apparently it must have went to the original email which I never changed.
I’m currently login as a different user just so I could get inky this Forums.
    Any suggestion?

None of the above is done via the blog’s Dashboard. Click the links above, most are done via the hosting account’s control panel or FTP/SFTP.

    Thanks James,
Sorry, I know your trying to help and I do appreciate it.
I have no clue how to do this, I don’t know where to find the hosting account control panel.

Who do you pay to host the site?

Ok, they should have something you log in to to manage your hosting account, like cPanel or Plesk or something.

    I recommend contacting them: https://ayera.com/contact_us/
