Website displays strange characters when turn on Brotli compression

    Hi

    I am testing my website on OpenLiteSpeed web server at here https://travel.turnkeywebsites.net/

    To improve the speed, I turned on Brotli compression. But the website always get error – displays strange characters.

    It’s display correct without error if I turn off Litespeed cache plugin

    Could you please give me your advise?

    could you please try disable cloudflare for the time being ?

    since the CF is handling the end-user compression , it may happen as double compression and end up in “strange characters”

    Thanks @qtwrk for your reply. I disabled the CloudFlare and the problem is still there.

    Just disabled again and you can check.

    Please make sure the PHP zlib compression output is also disabled

    Tried to disable PHP zlib compression, but didn’t work. I give up. I will disable/remove brotli compress and and use gzip by default.

    the PHP conf may not take effect immediately , better to double check and confirm by phpinfo()

    that’s one way to go , since the cloudflare will handle the end-user compression to browser ,

    but you can also create a ticket by mail to support at litespeedtech.com , our server-staff will investigate further.
