Website down after update to 4.10

    Hello all,

    Today, after the update of the plugin to version 4.10, my wordpress website went down (WordPress error). I had to restore and disable the plugin in order to get it back and running. I tried to enabled it again but it inmidiatly went down and I had to restore from a backup again.

    Is there any known issue with this version? Or I am the only one with this current issue?

    Hi @milhaud, yours is the first report of an issue with the 4.10 release.

    Could you check your PHP error log for an specific error message and forward it to [email protected]? You can typically find the error log in your hosting control panel.

    If you could also include your system report at Automator > Status that would also be helpful.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late response. For some reason everytime I was enabling the plugin the website was down, but when disabling the plugin everything was working as expected. It also happened with another plugin.

    I had to delete both plugins and reinstall them. After that it works like a charm. Probably something to do when the installation of the update of the patch, that didn’t go through as expected.

    Thanks so much for the update! Yours was the only fatal error report for 4.10, so after a major update like yesterday’s we were pretty concerned. It’s great to hear things are working as expected now.

    I have a bit more insight – It seems the issue was related to a compatibility issue with one plugin and the theme I am current using. I just happened to update “Uncanny Automator” at the same time, so it also got affected somehow.

    It’s all sorted and I’m pretty confident it’s nothing related to your plugin. Thanks for your quick response anyway :).
