    Hi,

I’m not super tech savvy, but I’m hoping someone can help me with this.

When someone fills out a form on my website, the email goes to our old email client (Thunderbird). We now use Gmail as our email client. The email address is accurate, but for some reason it gets sent to the old Thunderbird client every time. I’ve tried different contact form plug-ins to see if it was a problem with the plug-in but got the same result.

Also, once the email gets delivered to Thunderbird, any email response comes back to Thunderbird instead of Gmail. This is super frustrating.

    Any advice?

    Hi,

With the information you gave it looks like this is not a problem related to WordPress. If I understand you correctly; the email goes to the correct email address, but it doesn’t show up in the correct email client?

If that is correct, it looks like you have your email clients configured incorrectly.

    HI,

I’ve completely deleted the account from the old email client but the emails still don’t go through to the new client. For some reason, something is telling emails from my website to be route differently than all other emails. Which email configurations should I look into?
