    Hi,
Same issue here. Root and wp-admin folders are flooded with thousands of 0byte temp files. All files start with “cron”. Can you provide a fix please? I also had to deactivate the plugin, but I would love to use it.
    Thanks

Yes, they are of 0 byes but this plugin behaving like big virus..and yes it increases cpu times as well..

and such files keeps go developing every second.
I think developer should take this thing seriously and solve this..though its totally upto developer …you know its a free plugin..:)

    Hi,

I’m having the same problem over here:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/mnqsuu6fhzt5yt0/Screenshot%202015-03-11%2022.53.10.png?dl=0

Thousands upon thousands of those files are generated.
I am in the process of cleaning them but it seems as if there is no end to them.

    Please advise.

I am coming back on this issue to add a little insight.

I was so crowded with empty files (around 100k), that I have having no luck deleting them manually, therefore the best solution I have found was to do the folowing:

SSH into my remote host, then

rm -rf cron* to delete all of them.

This is by far the fastest way to get rid of them, however I too have to keep the plugin deactivated right now, otherwise they just keep coming back every minute or so.
