    Liebe Erfahrene,
    ich baue eine Website für Helfer und Betroffene – bin aber Anf?nger und suche Unterstützung.

    Theme: ?Accelerate“, Bl?cke: ?SiteOrigin page builder“,

    Markus

    Dear Experienced,
    I'm building a website for helpers and affected people - but I'm a beginner and I'm looking for support.

    Theme: "Accelerate", blocks: "SiteOrigin page builder",
    so far everything with "SiteOrigin Editor".

    Each block has a "Title", the content comes from emails. Pseudo headings are *bold*.

    1st question:
    Instead of the bolded pseudo-headings, I want to use real headings (hoping that these will then automatically work as "anchors" and can be jumped to via link). For this I mark the line as "heading". In the text markup I find 6 levels for this.

    In the text editor, levels 3 and 4 look good, matching the "paragraph".
    But in the website, the levels are way too big.
    Also the levels 5 and 6 are still too big (in the editor, however, they look much smaller than "paragraph").

    Where is the error? How can I improve this?

    With best regards,
    Markus

  • Hi, I am one of the mods in the German WordPress support forums where the question above was asked. Since we have only a handful of active users who answer questions, I suggested to place the question here. Since probably not everyone here speaks fluent German, I would like to quickly translate the question:

    The user is using the Accelerate theme together with PageBuilder by SiteOrigin. Each block of a page has a title, the content comes from emails, pseudo-headlines are formatted in bold.

    Hi Markus and Bego

    Thanks for reaching out.

    In the text editor, levels 3 and 4 look good, matching the “paragraph”. But in the website, the levels are way too big.

    I’m viewing the home page. Please, could you let me know which heading is too big?

    Hi Andrew,

    I have made a sample page: https://ukraine.b?rlocher.de/x/

    The text seems to belong to the heading below rather than to the heading above.

    If I need only two (or one) hierachical headers, h6 and h5 looks nice in relation to the text. But on this way I loose the h1-level für SEO.

    If I use h1 and h2 it looks not nice.

    Hi Markus

    Thanks for the update. It’s up to your theme to set the heading and paragraph spacing. We aren’t normally able to assist with Custom CSS changes within our free support scope. You might consider our SiteOrigin CSS plugin in the future which offers a visual editor for making CSS changes.

    You can try the following at Customize > Additional CSS or Appearance > Custom CSS:

    .textwidget h1,
    .textwidget h2,
    .textwidget h3,
    .textwidget h4,
    .textwidget h5,
    .textwidget h6 {
    	padding-bottom: 18px;
    }

    .textwidget p {
    	line-height: 24px;
    	margin-bottom: 15px;
    }

    The values I’ve inserted above are the values currently set by your theme. You can adjust them as required.
