Website Goes Blank After Cornerstone Update

I’m trying to update Cornerstone plugin and when I do so the whole website goes blank. I have to restore it from the wpengine backup because I can’t even get to the login page. Also the blog page isn’t loading and I think it might have something to do with Cornerstone’s version – everything else on the website is updated.
