Website Hacked!

    So, my website was hacked few days ago and it was redirecting to other spammy websites. After removing bad code from the theme my website is up and running fine but I can’t access my website from local IP address anymore (see here https://i.imgur.com/4VKAFpI.png).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi, sorry to hear about your issue.

    I think you have the wrong forum support. We only support our plugin. Is this in any way related to AIOWPS plugin?

    Hi,

    I was actually using AIOWPS plugin when this happened so yes, it is related to AIOWPS plugin. I think my local IP was blocked by hacker during attack so this could be the reason why I can’t access my website from local IP. However, I would like to hear what you think. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi, thank you for providing more information. I am not sure that we can do much about this issue because it is regarding your IP address. What I do recommend is that you get in contact with your host about your IP address being blocked?

    What leads you to believe that this plugin is blocking your IP address?
    What behaviour are you seeing exactly when you try to login to wordpress?

    If you are certain that you are being blocked by this plugin, why don’t log into your server (CPANEL) and manually deactivate the plugin by renaming its folder. Also you should delete all the .htaccess rules which are be applied by this plugin. Then you should be able to log in if you were previously blocked.

    More importantly you should get your site cleaned up.

    Hi,

    I did not mean or say your plugin was blocking my IP. I just could not access or log in to my WP dashboard after attack so I thought you might know something more about this since you’re making security plugins. I still do not know what the problem was but I am now able to access and login to my website with no issues. Thanks anyway.

    It would be nice to know why your IP address was blocked. However I am happy to know that you can once again access your admin panel, which is extremely important.
