Website has Redirect Loop after upgrading to HTTPS

  • Recently I upgraded my website to HTTPS using Cloudflare Flexible SSL. But when i changed WordPress URL and Site URL settings in GENERAL, my website started showing “Website has redirect Loop” Error which also preventing me to Login to My account.

    How can I solve this problem?

  • Also having this issue, I know it can be circumvented using this guide: https://www.seedprod.com/add-ssl-https-to-wordpress-site/ but I would love to know the “correct” way of doing this as it doesn’t change the “site URL” following that guide which means that a lot of the content is still served via http and that gives a warning on the SSL certificate in Chrome’s URL bar for https://www.hammyhavoc.com

    I did a clean installation just to be sure and it’s the same. When I changed the Site and Home URLs on the settings screen. Boom. Redirect loop.
