Website Homepage is gone

yes i have done exactly the same how do I remedy it?

Mine is broken still, the webpage comes up but it is blank/doesn’t have my real homepage. It has the “home” page that was added.

Where you using a static page for your home page? If so, you possibly just need to correct the page template selected on the page used for that page from the edit screen under “Pages”

Hi Rachel, thanks for your advice but could you walk me thruogh the proceedure. When I go into pages I don’t know what to do from there.

It says “You are here: Home >> Home.” but I can’t go to my actual homepage.

No, that isn’t my homepage though.

My homepage is completely different. It has a slider with all the stories and a listing below of past stories.

Mike I have just read another thread on wordpress support. I installed a cloaking plugin to try and cloak a link. The thread suggested to another person that you need to deactivate the plugin and see if the home page is restored. I did just that and it has worked. Sean

@esmi, this is a wordpress issue. It happens with whatever theme I install.
