MY website is displaying a weird format and I can’t figure out why. It shows a text menu with “skip to content” at the top. My normal layout has disappeared. Have cleared cache. Called Godaddy (generally useless) and they said it was something to do with ISP cache (they suggested I phone BT!)- cleared that. Then read it might be to do with ip address and DNS? Anyone that can help? This is so frustrating and I am not an html/css expert.
Also installed a plugin to force https on site but that hasn’t helped either. (I have an SSL certificate for the site but it still shows up with “not secure” in browser bar.
    Help!
    Thanks, Mandy

  • Hi Mandy,

the site looks fine (to me), I do not see “skip to content” anywhere, it shows the secured icon in the browser bar and the layout is fine.

Can you add additional information on what is the issue? A screenshot is always great!

This is what I see: https://vanweerd.com/screenshots/s20200613141037.jpg

    Hi Mandy,

Your site looks fine to me as well. All of your pages are secure and everything seems good except some images are not displaying on the About Mandy page.

If anything you might be experiencing a cache issue. Try 2 things:

    1) While viewing your website press the CTRL and F5 keys together. This will force a redisplay directly from your web server.

    2) Launch another browser in privacy mode. Then view your site. This will also display a fresh version.

    Cheers!

    Hi

This is happening in my site also. When I refresh, it looks Ok, but I have to refresh it every time.
It looks like the site is displayed in order to be read by voice-over app. I would like to disconnect it, and can’t find how.

    My site: https://www.cf-evajacinto.pt

I thank you if you van help me
