website is completely not working – shows php error

    After I click install for visitor-maps, it displays the following message.
    Fatal error: error traversing GeoLite City database file – perhaps it is corrupt? Try reinstalling it. in /home/MY_db/public_html/wp-content/plugins/visitor-maps/include-whos-online-geoip.php on line 454

    and after that, all my admin page and including the hole website in not working instead it displayes the above Fatal error. I want to deactivate the plugin but I can’t do nothing. Because it displays only the above error and I can’t access the WP admin/plugins page.

  • How to quickly log back in to admin:
    You will have to manually delete the plugin so you can log in again:
    FTP to this folder on your server:
    “/wp-content/plugins”
    and delete the “visitor-maps” folder
    Now you can log in.

    The cause….
    Your site probably does not have enough memory to hold the database.

    The database takes 30M memory.
