• I received a customer website to maintain and update.
    I tried to backup it, but the back-upping process was stacked and could not completed.
    Since the customer asked, I did some updates to the category’s definitions and internal links.
    The site worked fine; However, after few days, the server company said that the site become bigger and bigger, and become almost 4GB. They find out that the problem is in the contact form plugin, and they disabled it.
    Then:
    The server company said that the log file become very big and it consume again the permitted quota. They deleted the logfile, but they claim it is growing again.
    I have a copy of app 70kb log file I can submit.
    Can you please help me understand what is wrong with the website?

  • If you know which plugin you should try contacting the plugin developer. They might have some code that logs events for debugging purposes. If the plugin is listed in the plugin directory it should have its own forum. You might want to ask in that forum. There might be a way to disable the plugin’s log.

    I have no idea what plugging is the source for the problem. I checked the log file and could not find any hint.
    The following row appears many times in the log file:
    ” PHP Warning: Empty row packet body in /home/bronstei/public_html/106il.co.il/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1942″

    What does it mean?
    Can I get assist understanding the log file?
