Before installing Jetpack Boost I had Google score of Mobile: 28 / Desktop: 91. And Jetpack rated the site 31/94.

After turning on all three items in Jetpack boost I now get a 14/83 from google and 15/77 from Jetpack.

    Please advise.

    I do have a CDN.

2nd issue. When I scroll down on a page with lots of images as in long list of products in the ecommerce store section, the bottom images don’t load at all. No with lazy load on or off.

Could Jetpack and my cdn be interfering with each other?

I’ve tried deactivating everything else except for Jetpack boost and still cannot get my images back. If I disable Jetpack boost the images reappear.

    Hello, there.

It looks like the images that aren’t being loaded after lazy loading come out with URLs like this rather than the actual URL:

    data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

This is not something that Jetpack Boost would be doing – I imagine there is something else at play, here. Especially since I see that you have 45 active plugins.

Would you be able to try disabling all other plugins completely except for Jetpack and WooCommerce to see if the issue continues? If everything looks normal while doing so, then you can switch on each other plugin one by one until you see the problem happen again.

If you still see the issue even with all other plugins disabled, could you also try switching out your theme for a more minimalistic one (such as Twenty Twenty Two) to make sure this isn’t some sort of theme conflict?

Please let us know the results of the above troubleshooting and we can go from there. Thanks!

I disabled all plugins except for Jetpack and Woocommerce and still kept the Astra Pro theme turned on. The problem still occurs when Jetpack’s lazy loading is on.

With Jetpack’s lazy loading turned off it does work.

I then tried the 2022 theme and it appears to be working with lazy loading on as well as off.

I will leave a message with Astra Pro theme tech support and see if they can shed some light on it.

    Thank you for testing this.

It does seem to be an issue with your Astra Pro theme.

Astro Pro confirmed the issue and says they will try to come with a fix at some point and that it could affect any theme with infinite scroll. Advised me to turn off Lazy Load for now.

“`We just tested the same, and it seems like the issue is coming from lazy load and infinite scroll.

I have listed this within our improvement. But which ever theme has this infinite scroll feature would face the same. This shouldn’t be limited only to Astra.

Either you can disable that lazy load feature, or you can switch to the pagination option

Let me know if that work for the time we find any workaround for this issue.”
