Website is very slow

    Hi
    I run a website https://www.humanengineers.com/ and have been using the MesoColum Theme using the latest WordPress version.

    It was started around 1 year back and has over 6700+ posts/videos etc. I have been running from pillar to post these days because my website has become very slow. It takes more than 10s to load at times both in the front end and at the backend.

    I moved Developers, Webhosting and is not helping me.

    Currently its hosted on Hostgator, using Baby Cloud plan and they are blaming the Developer. The Developer is saying its either because of the WebHosting or the Theme.

    The Developer is asking me to move to another webhosting service provider (BlueHost).
    I cant be moving huge website every 6 months.

    Can some one throw some light and help me please. Is it an issue with the Theme that its not able to handle such large volume. I get around 200+ visitors per day as per Google Analytics. But as per CPanel around 2000+ unique visitors (again no one is able to answer why ).

    Appeciate any help.
