Website just displaying blog

  • My website has been updated to the latest wordpress also updated the latest woo commerce, disabled all plugins and done browser cachce but makes no difference.

    the website will not diaplay any pages only the blog. https://www.hopegapdesigns.com
    seems like a php issue some were. Also my home is just diplaying short codes now, it seems the update may broken a short code ??

    any ideas, how I can fix this would appericated.

  • Hi Cathy,

    It seems like there might be something wrong with the front page settings. Why don’t you check them out in your admin panel under “Settings” -> “Reading”. Make sure the “Static Page” under Front Page Displays is selected and accordingly the correct page from the drop down list.

    Let us know how it works out.

    Thank you very much
    that was right, it was clicked to blog page posts.
    Only problem is now the whole site os showing the short page codes istead of the front pages??
    Any help would be most appriciated.

    This has all happend since the wordpress updated automatically the other day.!!

    ps, have put it forwarding to the blog posts for now instead of showing the short codes?

    Just to clarify, the code that you want to see on the front page, you see on every page now? Can you please specify which short-code and where?

    Hi Janis,

    I went into dashboard on our handmade theme template, and settings – reading –

    and realised the home page was not set to static page ie – home but to the blog , so changed it to home page.
    but when we look at the home page its all covered with short codes
    Not happening on the other pages just the home page.

    Thought I would start a new page home page 10
    uploaded the code that came with the theme to build the page as per the original page but when we look at it – it is also showing loads of shortcodes even on this new page.

    Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
