website landing page

Hi, I want to have a landing page that consists of a responsive image. I have tried this by enabling the presentation page and using the first slider as a static image, no sliding. This works well on a laptop but on a smartphone the image is to small in height. Is there a way to have a landing page that works well on both formats.
