• Is wordpress is specifically designed for desktop?
My website load faster on desktop than mobile. I optimised my website as per suggested best practices. Like use of CDN, caching, minifying, optimisation of images. I’m using responsive theme.
But whenever it comes to load site on mobile device, it shows loading time of 15 – 17 second.
    Any suggestions for improvement?
I tried jetpack mobile module but not worked and useful for me considering customisation of website.

    Hi there,

WordPress is not designed specifically for desktop and it’s not specifically designed for mobile. This stems directly from website best practices, as any website being made will load faster on a desktop due to its resources available on the machine. However, optimizing a site will help with mobile-friendliness but if the server where the site is running on is not fast enough to serve content then this will also cause slower loading. If you’re running on shared hosting, then the amount of time serving content to users will take significantly slower time rather than running on a dedicated server where there are no other processes running. Your best bet would be to download WP plugins that help exclusively with mobile responsiveness and ask your hosting provider if they have any tips for making the server more responsive with mobile devices.

    Regards,
    Tyler
