Website Loading

  • Hi all —

    I have been having a recurring issue where my site will not load. I have sent error reports to my server numerous times and each time they check the logs and say it is not the server. Today, the problem happened again so I sent in another ticket. Here was the response:

    Hello,
    Looking over the php_error.log it looks as though your site is having WordPress database errors which seem to be stemming from your theme and its widgets.

    Have you checked with the theme developer to see if they have any known issues? Possibly see if there is another theme that you could use that is similar to the one you have so we can try to narrow down what is causing these database issues as there are no server side issues being shown.

    I very much do NOT want to change themes. I love Brunelleschi. Does anyone know if there are any theme issues? Or have any other ideas.

    Note that it may work perfectly find when you visit as this problem is sporadic.

  • If you look at the recent posts on that theme sub-forum, you will see that there are some theme issues – https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/brunelleschi

    As to whether yours is related, no idea – as suggested, deactivating your plugins and switching to the default theme might be a good troubleshooting step.

    Thanks, WPyogi. I very much do not want to change my theme. I have spent numerous hours creating my site and its elements. I am really hoping that Kit can help figure out what is going on.
