Website loads slow at initial request

  • i am using w3 total cache plugin and it indeed optimized my site.However, my first byte time is very slow…When i visit my website for the first time or a page, it take’s 5-8 secs to load but after the page finish loaded and then i reload it again i loads in 2milli secs very fast.

    I am not sure if its a cache or dns problem but the issue seems to be slow when a page is visited for the first time…this is my website :https://www.technobezz.com/

    Slowness/high CPU usage could be due to (but not limited to):
    – a poor or memory intensive theme
    – poor or memory intensive plugins
    – your server is slow (e.g., “process hang”, overload, you get a lot of visitors, other problems, etc.).

    To narrow down, try:

    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try deactivating via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides. If applicable, also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder. The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old.
    – To rule out any theme-specific issue, try switching to the unedited default, core-bundled Theme (such as Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen) for a moment using the WP dashboard. If you don’t have access to your admin area, you can switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

    thanks for the reply….! i am definitely going to try it

    it’s funny when i check my website speed here It show’s that the loads in 1.7secs but when i am actually on the page it does not load so fast or can you check the speed on your side my for me please if it’s something wrong with my Internet my website: https://www.technobezz.com
