Website Location

I am in the process of trying to set up a wordpress site. I have purchsed by URL, signed up for hosting with memsnet and have uploaded wordpress using filezilla. This 5 minute process has taken me the best part of 2 days due to my lack of technical know-how.

The problem is that my website is now located at https://www.example.co.uk/wordpress as opposed to https://www.example.co.uk, which is where I would like it to be.

When I go to https://www.example.co.uk I get a basic page which says Index and has wordpress listed as a hyperlink. When I click on wordpress I can the access my site.

Does anyone know how i go about changing this so that my website will be at the correct address?
