• Hi There,

I am really really hoping someone can help me. I have a wordpress site and for a few months I have had some technical issues with the site and the hosting company. I have now switched to host my site with go daddy and set up an office 365 email with them. The problem now is due to so many emails being lost with the switch over I do not have my password to log into the back end of my site. I have been on the phone to go daddy who have give me some support to go into the PHP admin to change the password but this did not work. Also when I click on the log in wordpress page to get a new password key the email does not come into my inbox?

Anyone know what I can do to get into my site as I am completely locked out and need to add data to it and get messages from the back end of my site.

If anyone can help through the C-Panel or point me in the right direction I would be really grateful as this is affecting my business.

  • These are some instructions in the Codex that detail the available methods of resetting your password: Resetting Your Password

Can I ask do you have to be in the back end of your website to do this? As that is the problem I cannot get into the Admin area at all to log in and make changes to the site?

    HELP!!!!!!

In the instructions that Clayton provided, you can do the password change from SQL or from the files via FTP. Do you have access to either one of those two areas?
