• Hello,
My website looks different depending on what computer or mobile devise you are using, and I was hoping to make the website more responsive. Does anyone know how to do that? I am not well versed with wordpress or CSS coding, but was hoping there was a relatively simple way to do this by adding CSS coding or a plugin of some kind. Advice or information on how to do this would be greatly appreciated!

  • Hi @michelle1210,

    Thank you for reaching out.

The Velux theme is already responsive, to some extent. Most of the themes nowadays have a different appearance on different devices.
Do you have any specific issues that you are struggling with? I would be more than happy to help with some of my CSS knoweledge.

    Best Regards,
    Pavle

    Hello Pavle,
The header image (of the desk with the pen and keyboard) changes depending on the computer you’re on. On one computer you will see the complete image on the homepage, but on another computer you don’t see the pen at all, just a little bit of the desk. On a mobile device the homepage image doesn’t show the complete image either (although the other pages of the website appear normal and show the entire header image). On a mobile device the menu turns into a drop down box which is partially over the logo. The google search console said that there were two mobile usability issues with the website: 1. text too small to read and 2. clickable elements are too close together. Although when I went to the website on my phone I didn’t encounter either of these issues.
