  • Hi @polkajunction,

There are lots of error messages in your console. Sometimes, this issue is seen due to some plugin conflict.

Can you please try deactivating all the plugins except the recommended plugins and hard reload ( Ctrl+ Shift + R ) your site by clearing the cache? If this fixes the issue, activate the essential plugins one by one and check your site at the same time to find the conflicting plugin.

If this doesn’t resolve the issue, kindly let us know. You can also contact our support team here.

Thank you so much for the prompt response.
Could you clarify what you mean by recommended plugins… I am a bit tech challenged :/

    Hi @polkajunction,

The recommendation plugins are the ones that are recommended by the themes when you install it. For this theme, the recommended plugins are BlossomThemes Toolkit, BlossomThemes Email Newsletter, Regenerate Thumbnails and BlossomThemes Social Feed.

You can deactivate all the plugins except this one at once and if the issue is resolved or not. If it is resolved, then some plugin must be causing the conflict.

If you still face any issue, please contact our support team here.

Thank you so much. Seems like W3 Cache plugin was playing a rogue. Have just deactivated it.

Also, as I run the GT Metrix, it suggests deleting the redirect chains. Talks about javascript. Is this something to do with the theme?

    Hi @polkajunction,

Maybe you haven’t configured the W3 Total Cache properly so that caused the issue.

We checked the GTmetrix results and it looks like the redirection is coming from some plugin. We don’t know which plugin exactly is causing this issue.

Again, you can try deactivating one by one.

Thank you. It worked. However, after the latest theme update an hour back, a black ‘close’ button has popped on the screen. This seems to be happening only in the desktop view though. The site looks fine in the mobile view.

    Hi @polkajunction,

We checked your site and we couldn’t spot it. Can you please share the screenshot?
