• A few months back our site was having issues with admin access. We updated our user plugin, which caused some issues, and somehow in the process of trying to figure that out, completely messed everything up.

Now when you try to access our website, it just says it’s been redirected too many times. I was able to find it here (https://web.archive.org/web/20240000000000*/chechome.org) but I don’t know how to get to the actual site to fix anything, or where to start.

Another issue that has happened as a result is that none of the emails from our domain are working, but our domain is paid until June. Not sure if that is helpful information.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi, @checdirectors. I suggest you contact your website’s web hosting provider, who should be able to assist you with this best.

At the least, you can ask them how to access your website’s files either via cPanel File Manager, or via an FTP program (such as FileZilla).

Once you’re logged in and can access your website’s files, navigate to the /folder-where-wordpress-is-installed/wp-content/plugins/ directory and then rename the directory/folder of the user plugin that messed up your site access. Doing this will effectively deactivate that plugin.

You should then be able to browse and log in to your website normally.

    I hope this helps!

How do I figure out who my web host provider is?

According to https://whoishostingthis.com, your website is on a server at Amazon. Of course, this can also be a very general statement, the actual host you have a contract with could be a completely different one. A look at your own invoices should give you more information.
