Website migration

  • Hi there

    I’m having a new website built and want to continue using your plugin and continue with the invoice number order. How do I do this?

    Do you want to keep the old PDFs or just begin where the old setup numeration ended?

    Both. I’ll need all past invoices and want to just pick up where I left off with the old website in terms of numeration.

    Hi @eteflonline

    I believe you need our Professional extension to be able to keep the old PDFs. This extension has an option to “Keep PDFs on server”, and by doing an export (on the old setup) you are able to generate those PDFs, and then you can migrate all orders data and also the attachments directory (where the old PDFs are saved inside the uploads folder) to the new setup.

    This is only relevant if you indeed want to migrate the orders from the old website too. if you just want the invoices on the new site to start numbering from the last of the old site, all you need to do is set the “Next invoice number” under Documents > Invoice and you’re good to go.
