Hi! I love your plugin (slim seo free version) but I noticed in google search results, after months of trial and error (I assumed it was just google crawling being delayed), the site name is being generated as a url at the top. Instead of the website name. (I want this.)

I have been trying to find what could be preventing Slim SEO’s basic schemas to show the website name.
But when testing schema results, it looks like the website name is there, but for some reason it doesn’t appear in search results.
    Is there something I’m missing?

    Maybe good to know:

    • While writing this, I’m using SLIM SEO Version 3.22.3.
    • I previously used Jetpack SEO function but disabled it when switching over to Slim SEO. (free)
    • Instead of Slim SEO sitemap, I use XML Sitemap Generator for Google by Auctollo. But I assume that does not matter.
    • Assume I know very little about code and programmering.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi @tombie,

As you notice, the WebSite schema is properly outputed in the website. So technically, the data is fine.

However, how and when Google decide to show the site title on the SERPs is not something we can force it to do. I’m afraid there’s nothing from our side that can do with this.

    Best regards,
    Anh
