    On https://www.petitplat.fr
When editing a product, it will go into “sale mode” (depicting the sale icon over the photo), but there is no ‘add to cart’ button.
I had a few products like this.
Those all went out of stock at some point and I changed to “not manage stock”.
I tried to do it on a blank (new) listing, same issues. Impossible to set up variables and the single product goes into “sale” mode.
Needless to say, tried to empty cache and cookies, etc.
it seems to be somehow linked to changing anything in the product data.
I have bulk edited others listing to “not manage stock” and that worked well.
But doing so in a single listing is causing the bug.

It must have something to do with the ‘sale’ somehow, because I could fix it by setting up a sale price. Even when scheduling the sale in the future this fixed the problem.
I have left this listing in the faulty state:
    https://www.petitplat.fr/shop/waffle-studspost-earrings-with-chocolate-and-banana/
After editing this product by adding a sale price, and scheduled this in the future I had an add to cart button again.
I wanted to take away the sale price, but am unable to do so now, taking out the sale price and saving does not work anymore. Now the sale icon is gone, but also the add to cart button is no longer there.
Product is in stock, no stock management enabled, and shipping set up ok….

  • Heyme, if you find a fix for this please inform us here. I will do the same. I have even contacted theme developer to see if this problem is theme-related because for me it occoured after theme update.

I have got EXACTLY the same issues as described…
I recently moved from a VPS to Dedicated Server with EUKHost, during which they kindly migrated a bunch of WordPress sites for me. EVERY Woocommerce site now has the same problem. NONE of them had it before, so I am guessing it MUST be a server config issue somewhere… but where????

    Hair nearly gone….

    Jack Daniels calling…..

    HELP!!

I have no fix, just the 2 workarounds stated above.
My fix is to move back to the old server for a while.

Is there any info to be found on maximum versions of PHP and MySQL somewhere that should still operate flawlessly with WooCommerce?
    The minimum are listed:
    PHP 5.2.4 or greater
    MySQL 5.0 or greater
    Maximum not…

What versions and server are you running on Nigel?

I’ve found a couple of threads:

    https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues/9400
    and
    https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/issues/9698

…but, unfortunately, no joy so far.

I was just thinking about dropping back to PHP 5.3.xx, as per the suggestion in one of the responses. I am running 5.6.16 currently, MySQL is 5.547, on Apache 2.4.18.

This seems to be more widely spread than I thought it was and would appear to be a Woocommerce issue, which is due to be fixed in the upcoming 2.5… ??

    OK… I am rebuilding Apache with 5.5.31 (NOT 5.3.xx as I said above – it’s late and I’m tired..!)

I’ll post the results soon as done and tested.

    Keep your fingers crossed!

    Nigel.

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It’s worked!

Dropping back to PHP 5.5.31 has sorted it – even complex variable products now function!!

    Now, where’s that JD? ??

    Nigel.

You’re the man! Thanks for all the tips in this thread though I haven’t got it to work yet, but the workarounds saved my day!

Have the best of nights, this is for you Nigel!

    Cheers buddy!

Hope you get yours sorted asap – and also that WC 2.5 solves the problem, as we can’t stay on 5.5 forever!

    All the best.

    Nigel.

PS. John Belushi really IS the man!! G’night!!

    Hello friends,

    FYI
Just installed WC 2.5 and the problem seems to be solved.

That’s cool Eddy, thx for the info ??
I rolled back last week to old server, and had no more issues, but was older PHP version also.

    I still get this error.

    WooCommerce version 2.6.4
    WordPress version 4.6.1
    PHP version 5.5.11
    MySQL version 5.6.16
