I need help with my website, on friday i noticed the website pages content was broken and also could not log in. I contacted my host and i was able to log in through control panel, i then added a admin and was able to log in but then i noticed all my contents where in the bin and menus showing red as there were no contents. I contacted the uncode theme customer service and they advised it wasnt a theme issue. All pages have been removed from bin to draft but i cant edit any and get the 503 server error display. The front end of my website its all blank white screen with misplaced content. I need urgent help to sort this out and get my website working again. I have attached a link to the screen recording, please help me!

  • Hi @fertileme

    Sorry to hear that ??

Something is going really wrong. Your best option is to contact your web host and ask them to restore a backup of your website made before the problems occurred.

If, for some reason, you can’t do this, make sure you back up your website as is (files and database) first and perform a fresh install of WordPress. Then try to restore the contents of your backup to the new website, piece by piece (database, plugins, theme, media files). Please note that this operation is likely to be long and quite difficult if you’re not familiar with it. You might be well advised to hire someone to do it for you.

Finally, make sure you have a quality hosting provider who makes regular backups of your website.

    Good luck!

It looks like your website is back @fertileme, well done! ??

Please, don’t forget to mark this thread as solved. Thank you!

Thanks @luk4, apaprently my website was hacked. I lost my admin access and all contents were in Bin, couldnt edit or do anything after i gained access through my Cpanel. I switched to a new hosting company from my previous host because i was trying to cut down on cost and looking for a cheaper hosting company. Not even a month after transfer my website got hacked, they had to restore a backup to get it up and running again. But then today i encountered another SSL security issue causing the website to display not save with a black screen, but they also managed to sort that one out. Im now moving back to my previous host, for the 3 years I was with them, I never had any problems. Thank you so much for your support

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had so many troubles with your new hosting. Choosing the right hosting provider can be quite difficult and overwhelming… Don’t hesitate if you need help with this!

Otherwise, make sure you keep WordPress, your themes and your plugins up to date (enable automatic updates) and be sure you have daily backups of your website. Finally, make sure you have a strong password and ideally consider adding two-factor authentication with a plugin such as Two Factor.

Anyway, it’s great you were able to get your website back online. Have a nice day!
