    Hi

Starting on Friday customers were unable to complete payments, though I had made no changes myself. I noticed the plugin had updated overnight. My hosts said there was an issue with the SSL certificate which they fixed but that did not solve the problem. Stripe support investigated and said the problem is with the plugin and to contact you. The error message on the plugin settings page is “Seems like the live API keys we’ve saved for you are no longer valid. If you recently updated them, use the?Configure Connection?button below to reconnect.” But when I click that button it will not reconnect but is forcing me to set up a completely new account. Please tell me how to get this working again.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out! I understand how frustrating this must be, and I’d be happy to help.

The error message you’re seeing—“Seems like the live API keys we’ve saved for you are no longer valid.”—typically means that Stripe has invalidated the stored API keys. This can happen due to various reasons, such as security updates, key rotations, or changes on the Stripe account.

To fix this issue, please try reconnecting your Stripe account by following the instructions in this article:
    Connecting to Stripe.

Before reconnecting, you may need to disconnect your existing Stripe account. Here’s how:

    1. Navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments.
    2. Click the Manage button next to your Stripe account.
    3. In the Account status section, click on the three dots and select Disconnect.
    4. Once disconnected, try reconnecting your Stripe account by following the steps in the article linked above.

If you still face the same issue, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

    • System Status Report?which you can find via WooCommerce > Status
    • Fatal error logs?(if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Please use https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com/ and share a link to that paste in reply here. Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.
