    Hi again,

I am extremely new to website design but was wondering if there is a standard way to insert data onto a page (particularly my home page) without selecting a post that has a blog format, i.e., one that does not have the date, author etc. My website is not a blog, so I don’t really need/want “author” etc. I know no code at all, so I am trying to do this with templates, widgets, plugins, and short code.

    Thanks

  • absolutely… with WordPress, you have the choice of using the blog as your front page or use what is called a static front page (and any static pages really) that does not have the date, author, etc on it….at least for my themes, both the Celestial Lite and my Pro version of it. So you should be fine with just using pages with any of my themes.
