    Hello!

I have website which uses RSD currency. I’ve installed Facebook for WooCommerce plugin, changed my website currency to USD (same as my ad account), finished setting up the plugin and reverted currency back to RSD. (since RSD is not supported currency)

Everything works great, track purchases accurately, ROAS as well – however the most important thing is not being tracked which is Website purchases conversion value (amount of revenue generated by ads).

It works well on plugin version 3.1.2 and it converts RSD to USD and shows Website purchases conversion value in the ad account. The latest version doesn’t do that.

What is weird is that it shows ROAS (return on ad spend), which is calculated by Website purchase conversion value/ad spend. So it knows what the Website purchases conversion value is, it just doesn’t report it in the ad account.

It is very important that the Facebook gets this information because it needs to optimize campaigns, but the currency (RSD) is not being converted to USD and then forwarded to Facebook.

Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?

    Hello danb96,

Thank you for contacting Woo support.

To better understand what might be causing this, could you please confirm the current version of the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin you’re using?

You mentioned that the conversion from RSD to USD worked correctly in version 3.1.2. The latest available version is 3.2.9, have you tried using any versions between 3.1.2 and 3.2.9?
It would help to know if this issue is isolated to the most recent version or if it began earlier.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Best regards.

    Hi @doublezed2,

    Thank you for your response.

In the meantime I detected the issue and found the solution, so I will leave it here for others that might face the same issue.

Facebook made a change on how they calculate Website purchases conversion value in ad account. Its now split into 4 parts, each having 4 options, by default it was on “total” instead of “value” which you need to select in order to see the accurate data.

Thanks again, hopefully it helps someone facing similar issues. Plugin works great!

    Hi @danb96,

We’re glad to learn you’ve been able to detect the issue and find a solution. We appreciate you sharing this with the community, as this may help other merchants facing the same issue.

Could you share some more details as to where to view or make this change in the settings? Is this on the https://adsmanager.facebook.com/ side of things?

    Again, thank you so much!
