• Dear Sirs
I have two websites hosted with YahooSmall Business, I did a redirect from one : prodigitalsuccess.com/blog to funnelxmaster.com/blog, I did that redirect through wordpress dashboard settings general, https://prodigitalsuccess.com/blog/wp-admin/options-general.php, after that I could not login to both sites.
I asked the host to restore a backup for prodigitalsuccess and it worked fine, now I can login to it, but the weird thing is that I cannot login to funnelxmaster.com/blog/wp-admin . When I try login in, it redirects me to prodigitalsuccess login page with a password error, also when I go back and try to restore password, it redirects me back to prodigitalsuccess with same error; I tried contacting the host, but they said I should contact Codex.wordpress, because they have the solution.
I hope you help me with this issue.
    Regards
    Fariss

  • I looked at both your website(s) but they appear to be so broken I’m not sure I can help you.

My advice is to disable the plugins on both sites by renaming the plugins directory to plugins1234 via FTP or your web hosts file manager.

Try to login to one or the other sites and then the other.

But as broken as things appear you might want to hire a dev for a couple of hours to fix both of those back and get them fixed up properly. They don’t even run from the domain name itself but need the blog subdirectory instead and the one site even showed me it’s directory structure. That’s not good.

That’s assuming they even can be fixed.

You might find a dev over at https://jobs.wordpress.net/.

Else do what I suggested and let us know what happened so we might be able to suggest the next step.

Thanks, your help is much appreciated
I tried as you suggested renaming the plugins files via file manager to plugins1234, still same problem persists, Now I am looking for a dev, I think I will look at fiverr.

Okay, let us know how that works out for you and if you need more help.

This didn’t work..so I have decided to migrate to another host company..the challenge now is with migrating the websites over to the new host at bluehost
