• My website redirects to another unrelated website. Even when I go through the WordPress site, I am also redirected to the wrong site. I have done a scan using malcare and securi, but nothing shows up. Even if it did, how do I fix it as I can’t get into the WordPress site.

Any advice is much appreciated as I need to get this sorted ASAP.

I visited and did not get redirected to another site.

Check all settings in webhosting account+in database
Check all settings for domain name registrar

    Hmmm?

Sucuri says the site is redirected and my Chrome browser shows the redirect. Since it didn’t show a redirect for @contentiskey I’m very suspicious… maybe it’s a stealth redirect (malware).

I think you might want to call your web host for help with that.

    Let us know.

Thanks, I run a malware scan on my PC and that seems to have fixed it. Will still contact the web host to get them to check everything is ok.

Further, the problem has come back again. Have run malware scans and my pc shows up clean.

Sucuri says it redirects to https://www.constructwealth.com.au, but it doesn’t, it goes to https://www.acaciacottage.com.au

    Any thoughts appreciated.

@cwealth1 It looks like you have a problem with your domain’s DNS records, more specifically with the IPv6 AAAA record:

    [*] AAAA constructwealth.com.au 2404:8280:a222:bbbb:bba2:9:ffff:ffff
    [*] TXT constructwealth.com.au Zone hosted on cp-rsl09.per01.ds.network

    [*] AAAA acaciacottage.com.au 2404:8280:a222:bbbb:bba2:9:ffff:ffff
    [*] TXT acaciacottage.com.au Zone hosted on cp-rsl09.per01.ds.network

As you can see, your domain and the other person’s domain have the same IPv6 address and this would appear to be the cause of the redirect you are encountering. A lot of people have IPv6 disabled through their browser/VPN/ISP, but it sounds like you have it enabled locally, so that’s why the redirect would occur on your end.

Solution: Update your AAAA record at the registrar, or just delete it if your host doesn’t support IPv6 for whatever reason.

P.S your website does redirect to the www version and that’s why Sucuri lists it ?? (also redirects to force HTTPS), nothing to worry about though.
