• Hi Guys,

I was wondering if any word press experts could please assist me with my issue that i’m having on my website.

I know that all screens, desktop and laptop are automatically set to 100% screen size view. However, when my laptop 15 inch is set to 100% the content of the website appears to be zoomed in, making the site (widgets, menu, layout size) look out of place, only if the laptop screen size is set to 80% does it then look normal. Though on my 24 inch desktop, the 100% screen view is all perfect. I know you make changes for phone, tablet and dektop, but i’d like to know how to make the website responsive for all different desktop screen sizes, big and small.

    How do I do this?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Laikha

    Hi Laikha,

Thanks for reaching out! Can you confirm that your browser is not zoomed in? Would you mind posting a link to your site so I can test this?

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I’m not able to replicate this. What browser are you using and again, can you confirm the browser is not zoomed in? Can you send a screenshot?

    Kindly,

    Hannah

    Hey Hannah,

so this is the view on a laptop at 100% screen size. Everything is squashed together, the menu is not in one line and the social media icons are in a column when they should be in a row.

Sorry this forum won’t allow me to upload the screen shot

    Hi!

What browser are you using? You can send a screenshot through this:

    Hi Hannah,

    Please see the photos attached.

The picture that looks zoomed in is set at 100% (the widgets are lined in a column when they should be a row, the titles within the headers are coming off the page, when they should be central).

The other picture is what the site should look like, but is set at 80%.

Both screen shots are taken from a 15inch laptop

If you know how this can be resolved, that would be amazing!

Feel free to email me on [email protected] ??

    Kind Regards,

    Laikha

    Hi Laikha,

Apologies for the delay! It looks like you forgot to send the screenshots? Just post the URL’s that were generated after uploading your screenshots.

    Kindly,
