• I tried to past in a printscreen copy but it’s not working, so I’ll just type in what I see…

Top left of screen has a dropdown menu that says All Departments. When I click on that it’s an amazon.com department menu. I do have the Amazon All Departments plugin.

At the bottom it says: waiting for ns-na.amazon-adsystem.com…

I also emailed Genesis in case it’s a theme-related issue. But if it’s a conflict with the Amazon plugin, oh dear! That’s my main way of monetizing right now.

  • Plugins have been known to break sites. Disable the plugin and see if everything is fixed. If so, contact the plugin developer for support.

If not, we’ll need to do more in depth troubleshooting by disabling all custom themes and all plugins and slowly enable them one at a time and testing to see if everything works. If it works, move on to the next theme/plugin and enable. If an issue appears, not which theme or plugin was last enabled and contact the developer for support.

Weirdly, the All Departments plugin isn’t even showing in my Installed Plugins anymore! I tried deactivating my other two Amazon plugins but that didn’t help. Any ideas?

Can you FTP into your server? If so, go to your wordpress folder, locate the wp-content folder, go inside that and locate the plugins folder and remove the offending plugin (or rename its folder). This will “disable” the plugin.

    okay, I can do that.

I don’t know what’s up here. The Amazon All Departments plugin is also missing from my wp-content plugin folder. All that’s there is the one that brings up the hot deals of the day, and the one that helps you put the links into your posts. What could have happened here??

I have now deactivated every one of my plugins and it didn’t change anything.

I’ve just spend the morning emailing with the Genesis tech person who’s been helping me and she’s ruled out theme-related issues. She suggested I call my host.

My host tech said there is nothing on the hosting side that could be causing this. I emailed Genesis again.
