Website slow down after the latest update

    Hi there,

    I just updated the plugin to the latest version and my site’s speed slowed down by 2–3 seconds, which is very noticeable. I got the screenshot showing the wp-simple-firewall plugin appearing in the PHP slow logs from the server as well.

    The speed immediately goes back to normal after I deactivated the plugin.

    Not sure if it’s just my website, or it’s a common issue.

    Okay, that’s good to hear. ??

    Please also update Shield to the latest v20.0.5 released today.

    We faced a server problem overnight and It’s already been addressed. This was a combination of a couple of different factors that combined to cause this.

    We’ll be reviewing other points of failure as a priority early in the week to eliminate anything like this happening again.
