Website slows down and sometimes crashes during a new order

  • Hi folks,

    We have been battling performance issues with our website ever since we installed WC.

    We run the server on a dedicated server so it gets plenty of resources. Lately the issues we are encountering is that the website gets really slow after an order is created. We are also having problems with the IPN Failing over at PayPal that I imagine is due to the website getting really slow during this period.

    My thoughts are that it is a server issue but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what we could look into?

  • Check again, PayPal has been having issues with their servers in the last day or so.

    Server issues with PayPal shouldn’t effect the performance of your site should it?

    I recently developed a WordPress site and now i am facing a problem with my website Sometime it goes down and a page loading is very long.

    can anyone help to troubleshoot the problem ?
