  • Hi cosminpindichi,

To edit source code of your site you need to connect with some FTP client like FileZilla or you can edit it directly access from cPanel. However you can add a logo on the site without editing any source code. Just click on the “Customize” option under “Appearance” admin menu. On left side you will find place to upload a logo on the site.

    Hope, it will help you!

Thank you very much. It is not my logo , it is a logo of comodo SSL certificate wich must be visible for https site. Where exactly in cpanel I can insert the 2 snippets – they said just before </head> and </body>.
    Thank you again!

You will probably need to edit your current theme’s header.php and footer.php template files to add these snippets. I’d recommend that you download the relevant file (which can be found in wp-content/themes/[active_theme_name] using FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides). Keep untouched copies as backups (in case the editing goes pear-shaped) and edit the files using a plain text editor.

Before you edit a theme you should create a child theme so when your theme developer updates it your changes are not lost.
