    Hi,
this plugin looks great, it gives a good score but I use the cookie plugin Complianz where if cookies are not accepted video (in home page and in the blog page) are not showed and a text place holder ask the user to accept cookies. With your plugin active the text place holder is no more clickable once page has been cached, after some minutes from your plugin activation so my website is not working anymore correctly.

Currently i uninstalled your plugin and just alerting you about the issue.

Another issue I can see is that, while I try your plugin i deativated the compilanz plugin and cleared cache but with your plugin active the website still be showed with the cookie banner and the video placeholder, this means a not updated version of the website still be served. This is not good and I’m asking how much time is required until the edit is published to everyone. The solution, also in this case, was deactivating your plugin.

I tested the safe and the basic mode. Both gives issue also of curse the fast mode.

And a question: this plugin is limited to 5k view? If so there is a place in the plugin that show a counter?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @peopleinside ,

    [removed by moderator]

As for disabling the Complianz plugin, you would need to purge the FastPixel cache from WP Admin > FastPixel > Cache Status or the FastPixel top toolbar so the updated pages will be displayed.

That’s correct, the Free plan is limited to 5000 pageviews per month but you can always switch to a paid plan if you need more pageviews. The pageviews counter can be seen within your FastPixel Dashboard on fastpixel.io after you create an account and associate your domain.

Looking forward to your email so we can investigate this further!

    All the best,

Thank you for the fast and nice reply!
I cannot give direct access to my website but I can see if I can create a demo then will reach you if I was able to create the issue in a test instance.

Thank you, have a good day and time ??

I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.

It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    • Ask for a link to the https://pastebin.com/ or https://gist.github.com log of the user’s web server error log.
    • Ask the user to create and post a link to their phpinfo(); output.
    • Ask the user to install the Health Check plugin and get the data that way.
    • Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
    • Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
    • Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

@peopleinside, we’re looking into the issue, it seems that we were able to reproduce it

    Hi @peopleinside ,

We’ve rolled the fix on the server side. Can you please enable fastpixel back and reset the cache to see if the bug is fixed for you?

Hi Aleksandr, thank you for your nice support.
I need to test this. I’m testing.. and when you will read this message I do already included the test result here ??

    Unfortunately is not working.
At the moment I think to be not more interested on resolving the reported issue.
Using too much cache plugin is creating issues.

A suggestion I can give to you is to also include to the user a counter about the limit also if the plugin is not connected to an account or seems there is no limitation on page cache.

I’m not more interested in resolving the reported issue.
I appreciate your nice, fast help.

    Hi,
I create a clone website where I am testing.
Seems the issue has been resolved so if so I can use your plugin.

I’m testing and if all is fine I will activate the plugin in my website, if test will be not find I will share here the testing cloned WordPress URL.
    Thank you!
