Hello, I’m a premium user. I’ve tried to submit a help request via the website form several times now and I keep receiving a 403 error on form submission. There’s no error displayed so it took me a while to even realize there was no submissions going through. There’s also a console error for a cloudflare challenge URL failing.

Extremely painful website support forms notwithstanding, I am trying to configure my compliance set up for [URL REDACTED] The issue I’m having is that Google Analytics services like GA4 and GTAG are still firing after consent has been revoked. This is currently an Opt-Out set up.

    As an example,
https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtm.js?id=GTM-XXXXXX is the GTAG script added via Complianz AND I’ve got it set up in the script center, however, the tracker is still firing after consent has been revoked. Same as the other GA4 scripts.

The cookies are removed when consent is revoked, but the scripts still fire and there’s still tracking events? Is it supposed to work like this or should the scripts be blocked?

I tried to reference this help document: https://complianz.io/blocking-cookies-from-third-party-services-how-complianz-blocks-cookies/ but it keeps redirecting to the homepage.

Any advice here would be great. Also I can export my settings and debug, but I couldn’t see how to do that in the dashboard.

    Thanks,

    Alex

    Hi @alexfareharbor,

The script you attached is the GTM script, but not gtag.js.

The former will load so you’re able to fire individual GTM tags based on consent, or when using Consent Mode (https://complianz.io/consent-mode-for-7-0/), fire the tags directly so that the Google Tag functionalities can be adjusted based on the Consent Mode updates.

But as you’re a Premium user, and this forum is intended for the Free plugin: please contact us via support(at)complianz.io directly, so you can skip the form.

    Kind regards, Jarno
