Website title and button alignment

Have been testing my website in various screen sizes. Especially in ipad (vertical) mode, it becomes too obvious that the menu button and site title are not aligned. It looks misaligned because I don’t have a site description probably, which would compensate for the empty space under the site title.

Does anyone know how I can align the menu button with the site title? I can add some extra padding to either, but there must me a cleaner way. I have only limited css skills and couldn’t figure this one out.
