    Hi. I downloaded 10Web Booster to increase my site’s performance. The plugin did a great job optimizing my site for speed, but after a few days of using the plugin, my website traffic began to drop significantly. After one week of using the plugin, my website traffic decreased by 82.4%, so I had to deactivate the plugin. What caused such a huge drop in traffic? Did I somehow configure the plugin wrong? I would like to keep using 10web booster because it gives great scores in Google Page Speed Insights, but I cannot reactivate it until I know it won’t tank my website traffic. Thanks.

    Hi @jeffetx ,
    We are extremely sorry to hear about you issue and would be very glad to assist you. 10Web Booster cannot affect the traffic negatively. However it is possible 10Web Booster affects counting the traffic right by optimizing the JS files which should actually stay untouched.

    Will you please confirm which tool you are using for checking the website traffic? Is it Google Analytics?

    Will you also pleas enable 10Web Booster on your website in?Test Mode? When the Test Mode is enabled, your live website will return to its original state, deactivating any optimization done by the booster and reversing any issues caused by the 10Web Booster.

    To enable the test mode:

    1. Log in to your 10Web account
    2. Click on the website where you want to enable the test mode
    3. To the left of the dashboard under Website Booster click on Frontend > Settings tab
    4. In the Test Mode section, click the toggle
    5. Click on Enable to activate

    Once done, please kindly let us know so our team could troubleshoot your problem ASAP.

    Could you please exclude Google Analytics scripts from the Delay All JS option? It’s crucial for accurate analytics tracking.

    I just excluded the GA scripts from the Delay JS settings.

    I still have 10Web Booster in test mode. Please let me know what I should do next.

    Hi @manegr,

    I just turned test mode off and will keep you updated with the results.

    In the meantime, I have a few questions:

    1. I use Google Tag Manager to send data to Google Analytics. Should I exclude Google Tag Manager scripts from the delay all JS settings?
    2. When I exclude Tag Manager scripts my page speed insights score fluctuates between 74-84. This is not an improvement over the other optimization plugins I’ve used. Is there something else I should be doing to get the 90+ page speed score?
    3. I am trying to optimize more pages using the free plan, but when I enter a URL I get an error message that says “Something went wrong” and that the “URL doesn’t exist.” Why is this happening?

    Thank you for your trust.

    1. Yes, please, kindly exclude Tag Manager as well.
    2. I have checked the website and it seems like you have managed to optimize 5 pages. Will you please confirm?
    3. The website has a great speed for desktop. Here is a link. For mobile we would suggest 2 main improvements: WebP generation and CDN activation.

    Hi @manegr,

    Yes, I was able to optimize 5 pages, but it will not allow me to optimize my product category pages.

    Thank you for the recommendations. I will check out those links to see how I can implement these improvements.

    Is Cloudflare the only CDN that works with 10WebBooster?

    Hi Jeff,
    Thank you for your time.

    The following page from your screenshot has a “Critical ID not found” message in the HTTP headers. It means the page is generated by a WordPress plugin and does not have a usual page ID assigned. These pages cannot be optimized.

    I have extra checked with the team and the issue should actually be addressed. May I remove one of the current pages and test the category page again to detect the issue on your side?

    We really appreciate your cooperation. After investigating the issue with adding a category page on your website we have identified a glitch. We will make sure to release a solution to the issue within a month.

    What refers to CDN, from our side we offer Cloudflare Enterprise CDN. However 10Web Booster does not conflict with other CDN systems and can be used with no issues.
