    Hi,

We have been working on the new website version and have thousands of images on it. We want to use LS Cache Image optimization tool, however, we are not sure when it would be the best time to do it?

Shall we first transfer the website onto the original domain (go live) and then do the optimization? Will it make a difference?

Side question: Most of the images need renaming + alt tags. Shall we do this before optimizing the images with LS Cache?

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    1) Answer to your first question is it wouldn’t make a difference.
    2) Answer to your second question is you should complete renaming the images before you have them optimized to avoid any potential issues.

    Regards.
