Website unavailable when maintenance mode is deactivated on new server

    Recently I moved my website to a new VPS. I moved all the files directly from the old server to the new one. I imported the database and changed some settings in the database and the wp-config.php. Everything worked fine.

    But before we opened the website, we had it closed with the plugin Maintenance Mode to see if everything worked. So in the end we decided to open the website again, but about 30 seconds after we turned off Maintenance Mode the website died. It was impossible to visit the website.

    So we restarted the server, managed to activate maintenance mode again and all administrators could visit the site without any problems. But as soon as we disabled the Maintenance Mode, our website died within 30 seconds.

    We have tried to disable all the posts but no luck.

    The website worked on the previous server.

    Does anyone have any idea of what it could be? Could it be our WordPress installation? Or is it our new server?

    Just after we have turned off maintenance mode, we can load the page pretty well. But if you wait about 30 seconds, the pages starts to load very slowly and eventually you can not display the page at all.

    Sometimes it is possible to activate maintenance mode again, and administrators can visit the website again without any problems. But usually we have to reboot the server to be able to enter the website.
