• Hi,
Our website https://www.healyconsultants.com/ is unusally slow for the past two days.

Our web hosting provider says that our website server has two crashed mysql tables and need to be repaired.
    —-
    eximstats.sends
warning : Table is marked as crashed
warning : 1 client is using or hasn’t closed the table properly
    error : Found 35605 keys of 35604
    error : Corrupt

    _wfHits
warning : Table is marked as crashed
warning : 3 clients are using or haven’t closed the table properly
error : Record at pos: 3746364 is not remove-marked
    error : record delete-link-chain corrupted
    error : Corrupt

I have disabled livetraffic option but still the site is slow.

Will repairing tables fix the issue?

    Please help.

  • Hi venkatrk,
if you are able to repair the tables that will fix the issue, assuming that is your only issue. If you are unable to repair the tables you may need to delete them and have them recreated. I can not answer for “eximstats.sends” table as that one does not belong to Wordfence. But the Wordfence tables will be recreated if you set Wordfence to delete Wordfence tables on deactivation, then deactivate and reactivate the plugin. This option is available at the bottom of the Wordfence “Options” page.

If you are often seeing tables crash you may want to consider changing the default database collation to InnoDB instead of MyISAM as InnoDB tends to be more stable. If you are unsure of how to do this you can ask your web host who should be able to help you with that.

Hope you are able to sort it!
