    Hi,

    from yesterday I try to make verification to my website with google, but it doesn’t work. I tried everything:

    I log in to Search Console
    I got html code and save it on computer
    I tried to put code in many different ways (like in some articles I found that it’s written differently than suggested in Jetpack example):
    <meta name=’google-site-verification’ content=’google-site-verification: google37eab27ab3e7aea7.html‘>

    <meta name=’google-site-verification’ content=’google37eab27ab3e7aea7.html‘>

    <meta name=’google-site-verification’ content=’google37eab27ab3e7aea7‘>

    <meta name=’google-site-verification’ content=’<meta name=’google-site-verification’ content=’https://lifeinbigtent.com/google37eab27ab3e7aea7.html‘>

    the same 3 codes I tried to put in such way:

    <meta name=google-site-verification content=code” />

    but trying 6 different ways and every time saving them still when I click in Search Console “verify” all the time shows the page “page not found”

    what should I do?
    I’m not good in programing, so I. a bit afraid to use option “Other ways to verify” ir google;)

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Instead of pasting the name of the file, e.g. google37eab27ab3e7aea7.html, select “Alternate Methods”, and then “HTML Tag”. You will then get the code to use in the tag.

    Let me know if it helps.

    Thank you! Finally it worked:)

    As well I want to thank you for such great support – not all plugins authors helps their users:(
